we used factory drip edge but did not build the house so couldnt help water on the fascia If the house would have been cleaned and painted it would look good

Horrible company. Defective installation, bad flashing and drip edge. Installed wet shingles, broke window, equipment damaged yard, refused repair and honor warranty. Hostile and very unprofessional.
I did tell the home owner if you get me a check ready i will be right over to pick it up and fix your problem . To this day 2/25/13 we have not been paid in full .

Yes the shingles were wet. when they are on the roof they get wet (water doesnt hurt them)
Follow up to previous review. Shingles may be installed after getting wet, but they must be dry when installed. Mine were installed sopping wet. The tree had been removed and yard filled 14 years prior to the damage that River City caused. House was painted and now has black drip marks on new paint from improperly installed first course shingles. Water seeps between shingles on new paint. Soffit and fascia are rotting because of water flowing under drip edge directly on to fascia like a fountain.
River City insisted, that nothing was wrong with this. Offered to wrap fascia with metal for $600 extra.. Discovered that clips were not added to decking replacement. Roof is sagging in two areas. Waited and insisted that River City file suit for final payment, since they have adamantly insisted that their install was perfect. Never been sued, never received any bill from them because they are aware that in a court of law, I would receive a refund of my payment plus damages. Entire six year old roof needs replacing. Defective work by an unscrupulous company. Had they corrected their install, they would have been paid in full and this issue would have been resolved long ago. You have been warned.
