Everyone was so friendly, smiles and talked to you. Bed was very comfortable, shower was great, breakfest was nice and pet friendly hotel plus proud to be pet lovers. If we come back to the area this is where we would stay. Thank you all for a great place to rest our heads.
Me and my family of 4, stayed here for 11 days and while the staff has been friendly they are definitely not in appropriate attire. Most of the time when housekeeping comes I am in the room and I vacuum and do most of the cleaning myself. But on the 3 days I was out all they did was take out the trash and replace towels, I always make the beds and gather all the trash and dirty laundry for them. The room was never vacuumed, bathroom was never cleaned, and I never got replacement bar soap. Even when they did replace my sheets I helped strip the beds and then made both of them myself. As mentioned in the above review they do wear PJ’s, the one housekeeper was wearing very noticeable pink slippers when cleaning rooms. It also seems as if most of the staff lives on the property, which makes me question the hotel. The laundry room is a small unventilated closet on the side of the building. The pool is nice but doesn’t seem to be cleaned very well and always taste like salt. And even though the rules at the pool clearly state that an adult must always be with a child, the workers who live here let their children go out to the pool unattended all the time. It is not a very professional place at all, my whole stay felt like I was staying in white trash housing vs. a hotel. They do not have a business center even though it was advertised online and there “LARGE WORKING SPACE” the advertise is a joke it’s a small desk with just enough room for a computer and a notepad. It also states online that they have an onsite fitness center—MORE LIES, there is no fitness center. If you must ever come and stay in Baton Rouge or Port Allen skip this exit and go down one more to Lobdell Highway. We stayed at the Hampton Inn over there on a previous visit and the rooms are much roomier, cleaner, and the housekeeping always took very well care of my room. There breakfast has a lot more options and the staff is always appropriately dressed and groomed. When we booked this room at the Red Roof Inn we paid $100 plus tax a night, if you are staying for and extended amount of time talk to the manager at the Hampton he worked with us last time and got our room for $99 plus tax a night.
I stayed here twice in the last 3 months For business trips Very for fortable nice friendly staff Good clean rooms thanks for the cookies CEO Of ultra packing
I think the guy spot in my smoothie....
The owner increases the price during the week, due to the fact of the location. During the week you have these hard workers come in to work in surrounding refineries.... these guys work hard to support their families... greediness is not a good thing... but of course no other options unless they want to stay in vehicle... plus the rooms are plum dirty and nasty... would I recommend. Noooooooo
